Available to play without download on Liluo.io via the link below:
https://liluo.io/queen_maliyah/separated-dinos

In Collaboration with @Queen Maliyah

Two hungry dinos have been separated from each other! Complete all the obstacles along the way to find the two stars per level that will help them reunite!

Controls: Although separated, the dinos will both respond to the same control scheme! (Gamepad Supported). You'll have to keep an eye on both of them when moving them around.

One of the Dinos is faster than the other and can jump further as a result. The other can jump quite a bit higher.

Collect the lemons and blueberries for higher scores, avoid spikes or suffer reducing your score, and use the swappers to trade places.

The game is supposed to be playable in browser, I see you have a zip file in your game project, if that's a html build you should be able to change it to be the project played in browser without changing the game file and staying in the jam.

It's a desktop build with a Liluo.io link in the description. I was worried I hadn't done it correctly but it was also very late in the early morning, the timer was ticking down, and I'd already burned my two builds.

I'll try and change it over nonetheless. If I've stuffed it up and it's not a valid submission, that's okay. It was mostly an opportunity to collaborate with a friend of mine's 11yo who is super into game dev. I'm just glad we got something relatively complete published. It's a first for us both.

Yeah, I think I've followed the instructions incorrectly. It'd be awesome if we could leave it up for feedback, even if it's disqualified. It would mean a lot to the other dev to get people's thoughts and would help in breaking the news to her that I've borked it.

Edit: I can see how it's actually not even technically on Liluo due to how the registration works. We're both very new to this and we've been fighting a chromebook to get everything working from her side, apologies for that. Next time, hopefully!

I see what happened then.

Update your liluo build so it's properly uploaded to liluo, but be sure not to change the game files on your itch page. If the game gets to the point where it's judged by the judges, we'll base it off of the desktop build you have here on itch to make sure the version is the same one submitted before the jam ended. 👍

Absolute Legend. I've changed it now to Liluo. I've tested both that and the Desktop Build and they function the same so if there are any minor differences between the two versions it'll be from me downgrading it to the state it was in when I uploaded the desktop build, from the version it was when I was frantically trying to fix the bug (all prior to the submission time). I appreciate the understanding :D
